ANGENIEUX EZ-2 15-40mm T2 - PL (S35)

I’ve been using this lens for a few weeks now and the close focus at 0.6m really helps when I need to get in tight on a subject without swapping glass. The weight is noticeable but manageable on a gimbal, and the image quality holds up well through the zoom range.

The included PL and Sony mounts made swapping between my two cameras effortless on set. At T2, the image stays sharp even in low light, and the 0.6m close focus was a lifesaver for a tight insert shot.

The EZ-2 zoom range covered almost every setup on our S35 shoot, so I barely swapped lenses all weekend. Close focus at 0.6m saved us on a tight interior scene, and it balanced fine on the gimbal despite the 2.1kg.
