CANON 100MM MACRO IS EF

I rented this lens for a macro project and the close focusing distance really lets you fill the frame with tiny details. The f/2.8 to f/32 range gave me creative control over depth of field. It was sharp and reliable for the whole shoot.

I was a bit nervous renting a macro lens sight unseen, but the close focusing distance is genuinely impressive—I got sharp shots of a tiny watch gear with zero hunting. It handled the f/2.8 to f/32 range smoothly, and the IS kept things steady even on a shaky table.

The f/2.8 aperture gave me beautifully blurred backgrounds on my flower shots, and the image stabilization was a lifesaver for handheld close-ups. Focus was snappy even in low light, which made capturing dewdrops a breeze. I'm already planning my next rental to experiment with more subjects.
