CANON 85MM II EF

This 85mm prime’s wide aperture let in plenty of light for my evening shoot, and I was pleasantly surprised by how close I could focus for detail shots. The fast f/1.8 made background separation effortless.

Picked this up for a portrait session and the wide aperture let me shoot indoors without a flash, which was a lifesaver. It's sharp even wide open, and the close focusing distance is handy for detail shots.

That wide maximum aperture is a game-changer in low light; I shot an entire event without ever reaching for a flash. The close focusing distance let me grab some surprisingly intimate detail shots too. Already planning my next rental.
