APUTURE COB 300DII

This head is so much lighter than my older 300W setup that I can finally trust a single C-stand without sandbags. The included reflector bowl is a nice bonus for the price. Charging via the included transformer works seamlessly.

Rented this for a shoot and the 300W output handled a sunny window setup without breaking a sweat. The head weighs 3.2kg, so it’s solid on a stand but still easy to reposition between takes.

Picked it up for a weekend project—the 300W output is plenty for outdoor fill, and the included barn doors and lamp mount saved me from renting extras. Weighing barely 3.2kg, it was easy to rig on a budget stand without wobbling.
