Canon SPEEDLIGHT 600 EX-RT

The 20-200mm zoom range on this flash is incredibly useful for fast-paced shooting, and the recycle time with AA batteries was quicker than my old unit. It handled a full day of event coverage without any overheating issues.

Rented this for a weekend shoot and the 20-200mm zoom coverage was perfect for switching from wide group shots to tight portraits without swapping gear. Battery life held up fine with fresh AAs.

The zoom head was a lifesaver for bouncing light off a high ceiling in a tight room, and the radio triggering worked flawlessly. I managed to get consistent, even exposure across a whole portrait series without a single misfire.
