SENNHEISER CASQUE HD25

I was a bit skeptical about the 120 dB max SPL being too loud, but it's actually perfect for isolating sound in a noisy environment without distortion. The lightweight 140g design makes them easy to wear for long sessions, and they block out everything around me.

The 70 ohm impedance means my portable recorder drives them perfectly without an extra amp. Isolation is insane for such a lightweight headphone, really lets me focus on the mix.

Rented these for a live sound gig and the 120 dB max SPL handled the loudest monitors without breaking a sweat. The 70 ohm impedance paired perfectly with my mixer, and at 140 g they vanished on my head after three hours. Probably the most reliable rental gear I've used all year.
