CONTAX 645 55mm

Finally got my hands on this for a weekend shoot, and the build feel is impressively solid for a rental. The manual focus ring has just the right amount of dampening—smooth but not too loose.

Sharp as a tack wide open, and the autofocus kept up fine even in dim light. Rentals can be dicey, but this one was clean and the aperture ring felt tight. Booked it for a portrait session and every frame came back crisp.

Rented this for a weekend shoot and the autofocus was snappy and reliable even in low light, which saved me on a tricky portrait session. The rental itself came with a clean lens cap and rear cap, all packed securely. Would definitely book it again for the next project.
