HASSELBLAD HC 100MM

I needed a medium format lens for a product shoot and the f/2.2 aperture was just right for isolating details against the background. The close focus of 90 cm let me get really intimate with small objects.

Rented this lens for a portrait session and the f/2.2 aperture gave such creamy bokeh that I didn't want to send it back. The close focus distance of 90 cm made it easy to get sharp, detailed headshots without crowding the subject.

I was worried about the weight of a rental lens, but the f/2.2 aperture allowed me to shoot handheld indoors without a flash. The 77mm front diameter was easy to pair with my existing filters. Really sharp results.
