DEDOLIGHT HMI 400W

The barn doors are incredibly sturdy for a rental unit, and the ballast box makes setup surprisingly straightforward on set. I've used this for two shoots now and the output holds steady through long hours.

I was blown away by the color rendering straight out of the box—skin tones looked natural even at full power. The ballast is a bit heavy but built like a tank, which I appreciate for rental gear that sees a lot of abuse.

The barn doors and diffusion frame were already rigged when it arrived, so I just locked the stand and started shooting. Color rendering stayed consistent through a three-hour interview setup, no flicker on the 960 fps playback.
