ARRI HMI D5 575W FRESNEL

Rented this for a three-day shoot and the Fresnel lens threw a beautifully even beam with zero hot spots. The 575W bulb held up through back-to-back takes without any flicker or color shift.

The 575W output was just right for our night exterior, and the built-in ballast kept setup simple without extra gear. Even after eight hours of continuous use, the housing stayed cool enough to adjust.

The 575W output was plenty for a night interior through a 4x4 diffusion frame, and the fresnel spot-flood adjustment is smooth enough to dial in without fiddling. Lamp and ballast both arrived clean and ready to strike.
