K5600 HMI JOKER 800

The ballast is surprisingly compact for an 800W HMI, making it much easier to pack for location shoots. The included lamp mount is sturdy and held steady even with a small Chimera attached.

The spare lamp in the kit gave me real peace of mind during a two-day shoot—no scrambling when the first one started flickering. The 800W head paired with the ballast ran steady all afternoon, and the output was plenty for keying a decent-sized interview setup.

The ballast is surprisingly quiet compared to other 800W HMIs I've used on set, which made a huge difference during dialogue scenes. The spare lamp included in the kit saved us when a bulb blew on day two.
