MAMIYA 7 II 80mm

Rented this for a weekend trip and the 80mm lens gave me the sharpest medium format shots I've ever gotten. The rental unit was in great condition and everything worked smoothly.

I've shot 35mm for years, so the 6x7 negatives from this thing genuinely surprised me — the 80mm lens is tack sharp wide open. Framing takes a second to get used to with the rangefinder, but the camera itself felt solid the whole week I had it.

Rented this for a weekend trip and the 6x7 negatives came back sharper than anything I've shot before. The 80mm is a nice middle ground for portraits and street stuff, and the rangefinder focusing was easy even handheld. Packing it back up was the only sad part.
