GIRAFE MEGA BOOM 425B

The extended height range was perfect for getting overhead lights just where I needed them, and the 30 kg capacity handled my heaviest fixture without any wobble. Setup took about five minutes, which saved me time on a tight shoot schedule.

Rented two of these for a shoot with a 4x4 silk and they held it steady even at the full 3.6 m extension. The 30 kg rating is no joke, the base felt rock solid with a sandbag on it. Only wish pickup had been a bit earlier in the day, but that's on me.

Needed something tall enough to fly a 4x6 silk overhead for a shoot and this hit 3.6 m without feeling sketchy. The 30 kg capacity meant my heavier strobe stayed put all day, and the locking collars actually held tight.
