NIKON F6

The F6 body felt incredibly solid in hand during my rental shoot, and the bright viewfinder made manual focus a breeze even in low light. I’ve used older film bodies before, but this one’s quiet shutter release was a real treat for street photography.

The autofocus locked on so fast during a dimly lit ceremony that I stopped second-guessing the rental fee. The body felt solid in my hands all day, and it came back in the same condition I picked it up in.

Rented this for a weekend shoot and the build quality is impressively solid—the metal body feels like it could take a few bumps without issue. The film advance is smooth and quiet, which made street shooting less intrusive than I expected.
