PHASE ONE Schneider Kreuznach 110mm LS 2.8

Rented this for a product shoot and the sharpness at f/2.8 on the Phase One body was ridiculous, every texture in the fabric popped. The rental process was smooth and the lens arrived in spotless condition, focus ring felt precise and damped just right.

Rented this 110mm for a weekend portrait shoot and the sharpness wide open at 2.8 honestly surprised me. The focal length sits in such a sweet spot that I barely swapped lenses all day.

The leaf shutter sync at 1/1600 let me shoot wide open in bright sun without ND filters, which basically saved the whole session. Optical quality is ridiculous — the falloff at 2.8 is buttery and the corners stay sharp. Only wish I'd booked it for two days instead of one.
