SINAR 120MM MAKRO f/5,6

The Schneider-Kreuznach glass rendered the finest details in my flower stamens with no chromatic aberration at all, even on my 4x5 ground glass. Racking the focus back and forth with this lens is an absolute joy for precise composition.

Rented this for a weekend macro shoot and the bellows draw was buttery smooth—focusing at 1:1 felt effortless. The rental unit was in excellent shape, clean glass, no surprises. My only wish is that it came with a lens cap in the kit, but that’s minor.

The lens mount was rock solid on my Sinar, and the f/5.6 aperture gave me the depth I needed for precise product shots without any fuss. Renting was straightforward, and the glass arrived clean with no scratches. I'd book it again for my next macro session.
