SONY FE 24MM 1.4 GM

I rented this 24mm f/1.4 prime for a weekend shoot and was blown away by how sharp it stayed wide open. The manual focus ring had just the right amount of resistance, which made pulling focus for video buttery smooth.

I rented this lens for a weekend shoot and the autofocus was impressively quiet and fast, even in low light. The wide 24mm perspective handled tight indoor spaces beautifully. Only minor nitpick is the lens cap feels a bit cheap for the price point.

The rental process was smooth enough, though the pickup paperwork took a few extra minutes. The lens itself is wonderfully sharp wide open at 1.4, and the autofocus locked on quickly for both photo and video work on my E-mount body.
