TILTA NUCLEUS M

The magnetic follow focus transmitter and receiver pair synced instantly out of the box, saving me setup time on a rental job where every minute counts. The whole kit packs down into a neat 11x8cm footprint that barely takes up a corner of my camera bag.

The hand unit feels solid in the palm, and at 2.8 kg the whole kit has a reassuring heft on set. I’ve wired up the hand unit to the follow focus in under five minutes, and the response is immediate—no lag whatsoever.

Pulling this out of the box, the hand unit felt surprisingly solid for its size, and the included wireless controller lets me dial in focus smoothly from across the set.
