NIKKOR F 50MM G

I was impressed by how sharp this lens stayed wide open at f/1.8 for the rental period. The autofocus locked on quickly even in low light conditions, making it easy to capture candid shots.

The 50mm F-mount optic handled beautifully in low light, and the autofocus locked on fast enough for candid shots. Rented it in the standard config and the glass was clean with no scratches or dust, which made the whole experience worry-free.

Picked this up for a portrait session and the f/1.8 aperture let me blur backgrounds beautifully even in dim studio light. Sharpness wide open is impressive for a rental lens.
