NIKKOR F 85MM G

The autofocus on this 85mm was snappy and quiet, which made chasing my toddler around the park so much easier. The out-of-focus background in my portraits came out beautifully creamy, exactly what I was hoping for.

I’ve rented this 85mm before and the autofocus was dead silent, which made shooting a quiet ceremony feel effortless. The lens arrived clean and ready to go, and the aperture ring’s smooth stop-down made manual control a breeze. Exactly what I needed for a weekend of portraits.

The aperture ring clicks with satisfying precision, and the lens itself feels incredibly solid in hand. I used it for a full day of event coverage, and the autofocus was fast and reliable even in dim lighting.
