ZEISS CP3 35MM T2.1 PL (FF)

The T2.1 to T22 range gave me plenty of flexibility on a dimly lit set, and the compact build made handheld shots much easier than I expected. Great for a quick rental that delivered clean, sharp images all day.

Rented this CP3 35mm for a weekend shoot and was impressed by how smooth the focus ring felt—the T2.9 to T22 range gave me plenty of flexibility in changing light.

Finally got to put this CP3 35mm through its paces on a narrative shoot, and the T2.9 wide-open look has that lovely, smooth fall-off I was hoping for. The all-metal barrel feels rock solid even after a long day of handheld work.
