The barndoors included are surprisingly sturdy and attach securely, which made shaping the light much easier than I expected. It's compact enough to pack in with the rest of my kit without adding much weight. Made a noticeable difference in focus control on the 300.

Rented this for a shoot over the weekend and the build feels rock solid for a 1.24kg unit—the barndoors click into place with real precision, no wobble. It handled the Cob 300's output beautifully, and the 14cm diameter makes it surprisingly easy to pack around. Definitely booking it again next time
