NIKKOR F 8-15MM フィッシュアイ E ED

Rented this for a weekend shoot and the zoom range from 8 to 15mm made framing way more flexible than a fixed fisheye, so I could dial the distortion in exactly where I wanted it. The ED glass kept the edges surprisingly sharp even at the widest setting, which I didn’t expect from a rental.

The fisheye zoom gave me that perfect distorted look for a tight studio shoot, and the ED glass kept the edges surprisingly sharp even wide open. Renting it was the smart move since I only needed it for one job, but now I’m tempted to book it again.

The zoom range made framing interiors so much easier than my usual prime fisheye, and the 8mm end is delightfully exaggerated. Rented it for a weekend shoot and it delivered consistently sharp results across the whole zoom.
