LAOWA 24mm f/14 X2 MACRO PROBE - EF (FF)

I was blown away by the macro detail I could get with this lens—the 2:1 magnification made tiny textures look enormous. The 24mm focal length was surprisingly practical for stuffing the probe in tight spots. Definitely worth the rental fee for my insect close-ups.

The rental arrived in perfect condition and I was blown away by how close I could get with the 2:1 macro ratio. I used it for a jewelry shoot and the 24mm perspective really let me capture intricate details I could never get with a standard macro lens.

Took this rental out for a product shoot and the 2:1 macro capability let me capture details I’ve never been able to get before. The long probe design is surprisingly manageable on a gimbal for video, and the lens itself feels solid. Made my footage look significantly more dramatic.
