Packed up easily and the 6.5 kg weight gave me confidence it wouldn't tip over during the shoot. The minimum height of 1.13 m was perfect for my low-angle lighting setup.

The 6.5 kg weight makes this stand surprisingly stable even with a hefty softbox attached, and I love that it collapses short enough to stash in the trunk. Setup took just a couple of minutes, and it held firm during an outdoor shoot in a light breeze.

The locking mechanism on this PIED 1000 feels solid and reliable, especially given the 6.5 kg weight. It sets up quickly and the minimum 1.13m height works perfectly for my backdrop lighting. Really glad I rented this instead of buying a cheaper stand.
