CANON 16-35MM III EF

Rented this for a week of interior architecture shots and the corner sharpness at 16mm honestly surprised me. The constant f/2.8 came in handy when I was hand-holding in dim hotel lobbies. Zoom ring is smooth, no creep when I tilted it down.

Shot an entire rooftop sunset session handheld at 16mm and every frame came back sharp, even wide open. The zoom ring is smooth enough that racking between 16 and 35 mid-shot didn't feel jerky at all.

The 16-35mm range is great for wide shots, but the aperture ring on this rental felt a bit stiff compared to other lenses I've used. Image quality was decent overall though.
