HASSELBLAD 555 ELD

The film advance mechanism is buttery smooth and the viewfinder is incredibly bright. Shot a whole roll of black and white in a local park and every frame came out tack sharp.

I was a little nervous about renting a medium format body for the first time, but the 6x6 film capture is incredibly intuitive once you get going. The shutter release on the 555 ELD feels solid and precise, making each shot feel deliberate.

The 6x6 square format on this rental body was a joy to compose with, and the medium-format film handling felt smooth and intuitive from the first roll. The camera arrived in clean, working condition, which made the whole shoot stress-free.
